My name is John Spagnolo, in case that wasn’t completely obvious by the domain name and the big “JohnSpagnolo.Com” at the top of this blog! 
This site is FAR from my first website. BUT, it is my first site concentrating on marketing myself! So as a new site, with relatively low traffic (Thanks for stopping by Mom!) I am trying to build the traffic, and build my email list. What did you want me to do, lie?
I want to help you succeed in life, in ALL areas! Not just succeed, but to truly LIVE life to it’s fullest. So I got to thinking, how can I start things off as a self-proclaimed helper? How can I get people to join my list so that I can help, while promoting myself?

Give something away, idiot! That was the obvious answer. OK, but WHAT???? I want to help people in SO MANY areas, I didn’t want to concentrate my give away on an e-book that concentrated on one particular area. I could have given away several, like “Traffic Generation 101” which is more than an E-book, but a total membership site dedicated to driving traffic to your website for free or little money. But not everyone is interested in online marketing, so this would not be of value to you. But guess what? If you DO want access, which normally costs $67, I CAN give it to you for free! Just sign up on the right side, and you will get a link to get in for free!
OK, so the point is, I can give you VALUE for FREE and help you LEARN. But back to my issue, what to give away. like that wouldn’t be enough?
So I looked through all of the things I have bought over the years, and came up with a KILLER give-away (bribe!) , and here it is……

Hey John looks like I’m your first customer
so I want to welcome you to the jungle I have been around awhile yet
I’m always looking for better ways to send traffic to my site and you
never know when you’ll find some great info or can learn something
and building your own list is the best way to do it. However just getting
anyone on your list can be a total waste of time, I once had a list of over
25,000 people who were happy to get all the free stuff I was sending
yet I never made more then 100 bucks from this list in a 3 year span.
The thing is most people seeking to get free stuff will hard to sell you
need a targeted list of buyers. Oh and the idea of giving away 20,000
ebooks thats crazy, most people will think that they have no value man
and you will kill your own market like that maybe you can offer a smaller
number of very high valued ebooks no more the 10 to 15 then sell the
rest or even give them away slowly over time just a thought and I have
oh about 300,000 ebooks and scripts and you name it that I have been
collecting over the years but my server crashed the other day.
Hi David, and welcome! I couldn’t agree more! You are right, a TARGETED list is much more valuable, and I have other sites designed for more targeted traffic in mind. This is more of a general list for people who are sitting at the pool with their toes in the water, trying to decide if they should get in or not. I am giving away a SICK amount of content for this, and it REALLY is limited time only. In the future it will be more as you described, a smaller package of ebooks, software, whatever. But I truly want to give real VALUE out, and help people get on the path.
My first instinct was to NOT approve this comment, as you have a link to your site, but then I said, why not? We are ALL trying to drive traffic, whatever little traffic you get for that, good for you! I wish you the best of luck with it, and I will check it out further myself when I have a little time.
