Pamrapo Savings Bank recently announced that it will close four branches in Bayonne in mid-September, as reported in today's Jersey Journal.

However, bank officials said, the closings will not be accompanied by employee layoffs.

The closings follow a recent merger with BCB Community Bank in July.

"At this point in time it is not our intention that anybody loses employment," said BCB
CEO and President Donald Mindiak.

The Pamrapo branches, all located on Broadway, are slated to close on September 15th and were selected for closure due to their proximity to BCB Community Bank branches.
