A new Route 440 mall will bring hundreds of retail and food industry jobs to Bayonne this fall, according to today’s Jersey Journal.

Bayonne's low-income residents can qualify for weatherization assistance funding thanks to a state-funded program.

The red tide outbreak reported Monday morning continues to linger in the Hudson River, officials said yesterday. The U.S. Coast Guard is monitoring the nearly 10-mile-long sheen of reddish-brown algae in New York Harbor, but has given no timetable for when the algae will disperse.
