A third suspect has been arrested in the Sunday beating of a Bayonne man that left the victim in a coma, according to an official.
Bayonne Public Safety Director Jason O'Donnell told The Jersey Journal that police arrested a Bayonne juvenile male at 1 a.m. this morning in connection to the savage beating of 22-year-old Dawid Strucinski.
"He appears to be one of the actors involved in the aggravated assault," O'Donnell said this morning.
The suspect has been remanded to the Hudson County Youth House, he added.
Bayonne officials said yesterday that they had arrested two people in connection to the assault.
Strucinski was attacked by a group of more than a dozen people early Sunday as he rushed to help someone he knew who was being attacked, his friends said Wednesday.
Friends and family said yesterday that Strucinski is breathing on his own but remains in a coma at Jersey City Medical Center.
To help the family’s medical expenses, a fund-raiser will be held for the recent criminal justice graduate from Rutgers University today.
