Bayonne city council to discuss ordinance to raise dozens of municipal fees, bestowing historic designation on local building at caucus

Items on the agenda include a public hearing for an ordinance that would raise the cost of dozens of municipal fees, including marriage certificate fees, pet licenses and various building fees.
Also on the agenda is an ordinance up for first reading that seeks to bestow historic designation on a Bayonne property, located at W 8th Street, that dates back more than 112 years.
The meeting will take place this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at Bayonne City Hall, 630 Avenue C.
